Q. Does my child have to come to EVERY practice?

A. If your child is dedicated to improving on his/her swimming then it would be beneficial to them if they attended every practice.  This is not mandatory, but there is no pro-rated pricing for children that don’t attend all the practices.

Q. What are the meets like?

A. Check the calendar as there is a list of all the events listed under each meet.  Your child will be entered in all the events.

Q. Do I need a Thrashers Suit?

A. We want to look like a TEAM when we go to meets.  Part of that is wearing the same swimsuits.  You wouldn’t play baseball wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt for your games, swimming is no different.

 Q. What is that writing on my childs hand?

A. That writing is the event, heat and lane that your child will be in during the meet.  As the team has gotten larger it’s harder for the coaches to put this on your child and we ask that you take the time to do this for your child before the meet starts.  The information can be found in the programs that are available at all the meets.
